IKU (Interaction, Knowledge and usage) is a research unit of University of Liège which gathers the expertise of professors and researchers mainly from two faculties (Psychology and Educational Sciences and Architecture) around European and regional multidisciplinary projects. It explores cooperative interactions, mediated and situated knowledge. IKU has developed a long experience in doing field studies at school, at work using various methodologies such as observations, interviews, participatory approach, focus groups, video analysis, scenario based design.
