CampoRosso was founded by Prof. Walter Van de Velde and Rossella Magli in 2001. It is a small company based in Brussels, combining skills in science, technology, education and anthropology of communication. Its co-founders previously held posts in research institutes and universities in various European countries. CampoRosso stems from their dream to have a flexible structure that would allow them to develop research in the widest spectrum and with the least constraints possible. Since 2001 CampoRosso has developed extensive collaboration with companies and public bodies, such as the Research Management at France Telecom (Paris), and a new interdisciplinary institute called DISC (‘Decision, Information, Science, Communication’), in collaboration with the Vrije Universitet Brussels (VUB), The Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and the Brussels Regional Government. CampoRosso co-founders have also been regular experts for funding agencies at regional and European level in the domain of education and technologies |
